Work program

The updated State Planning Office work program is now available with indicative dates for engagement for the remainder of 2023 into 2024/25 for the Review of the State Planning Provisions and Phase 2 Planning Reforms.

The Phase 2 Planning Reforms commenced in 2021 and aim to deliver the following key components of the Tasmanian planning system:

  1. introduction of the Tasmanian Planning Policies
  2. an improved regional land use planning framework

enabling comprehensive reviews of the three regional land use strategies.
