The Minister has made interim State Planning Provisions (SPP) Amendment 01/2024 effective from 23 October 2024 for 12 months.
The interim SPP Amendment 01/2024 will apply in council areas where the Tasmanian Planning Scheme is in effect.
The Minister has taken this step after considering advice from a range of stakeholders including councils, the Tasmanian Planning Commission and other state agencies and in accordance with Ministerial powers under the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993.
