After consulting with the Tasmanian Planning Commission, planning authorities in the South region, and relevant state service agencies and authorities in accordance with section 5A(4) of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993, as well as the general public; the Minister for Housing, Planning and Consumer Affairs has declared an amended Southern Tasmania Regional Land Use Strategy 2010 – 2035 (STRLUS).
The amendment involves an update to the Urban Growth Boundary on Map 10 of the STRLUS.
The amended Strategy came into effect on 19 May 2025 with the declaration being notified in the Gazette
