The Land Use Planning and Approvals Regulations 2014 were made on 22 December 2014 for a period of ten years. This means that they were going to expire on 22 December 2024. As all of the functions provided under the existing regulation are still required, the regulation was remade with all of its existing functions.
The same situation also applied to the Land Use Planning and Approvals (Application of Act) Regulations and the State Policies and Projects Regulations. These have also been remade.
